Minimum Wage

Minimum wage is set nationally (or by province/region in some markets) and reviewed annually. Exact figures depend on the country and locality.

Overtime Pay

Overtime applies beyond statutory weekly hours and must be paid at the legal multiplier. Weekends and public holidays typically carry higher rates.

Bonus

13th Month

Many SEA markets require a 13th-month payment (sometimes tied to a religious holiday). Eligibility and timing vary by country.

Typically 1 month's wage for employees with ≥ 12 months tenure; pro-rated otherwise.

The payment is usually made before the country's main holiday and applies to all employees meeting the minimum tenure.
